Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS)

Units 1, 2, and 3 Response to Request for Additional Information Regarding Monitoring and Operational Assessment of Steam Generators for Palo Verde Unit 2, and Continued Operability of Steam Generators for Palo Verde Units 1 and 3.

By letter dated October 2, 1997, the NRC requested information regarding recent Unit 2 steam generator inspection results. The purpose of this letter is to notify the staff of Arizona Public Service Company's (APS) intention of submitting the response to the request for additional information by November 18, 1997. This date change was discussed with Ms. Kristine M. Thomas of your staff on October 30, 1997. This change will enable us to include information which was discussed at the recently concluded EPRI meetings in the reponse.
