On April 16, 2009 at 3:30 p.m., an Annual Assessment Meeting was conducted at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, Brattleboro, Vermont, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy). The NRC presented and discussed its assessment of the safety performance of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant for the period of January 1 through December 31, 2008. In addition, at 7:00 p.m., a Town Hall Meeting was held to answer questions on the role of the NRC in ensuring safe plant operations. A list of meeting attendees is attached. | |||
