Operating Report to HRC des"ribing the.implementation of the plan during the previous year.The purpose of this document is to fulfil that requirement for the pe-iod of October 24, 1986, through December 31, 1986.2.0 Environmental Monitorin[EPP Section".2j 2.1 Aquatic Monitoring Under the authority of the Clean Water Act, the state=North Carolina issued a National Pollutant Discharge Elirination System (NPDES)Permit (No.NC 0039586)on July 12, 1982.This permit is in effect until midnight on June 30, 1987.Routine effluent monitoring was conducted and reported to the North Carolina Division of Environmental Management (NCi=M)as required by the permit.Monitoring adequate to dern:nstrate compliance with cooling tower blowdown minimizatior., water quality standards for temperature outside of the mixi.-q zone, and prohibitions within the mixing zone will be initiate" during 1987 following approval by the NCDEM.-2.2 Terrestrial Monitoring Terrestrial monitoring is not required.2.3 Noise Monitoring Noise monitoring is not required.
