The purpose of this e-mail is to inform you that I've drafted the proposed Director's Decision and will be sending it to you and the licensee for comment, probably by next week, I hope. The cover letter and draft proposal are slowly making their way through our bureaucratic process for signature. We haven't forgotten your petition, but I've waited until now so that our NRC staff inspections and evaluations of the issues you raised have reached a point that I can give you a meaningful answer.
