The staff has completed its review of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, (PSP) Revision 20 which was submitted by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to the NRC by letter dated June 29, 2016.
The staff has completed its review of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, (PSP) Revision 20 which was submitted by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to the NRC by letter dated June 29, 2016.  
Based on our review, we find the submitted PSP to be acceptable and the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant has met the applicable performance objectives and general requirements outlined in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Section 73.55, and the Additional Security Measures (ASMs) imposed by NRC Order EA-14-044.
 
A physical security inspection (IRs 05000390, 391/2016403 and 07201048/2016401) (ADAMS Accession No. ML16223A870) was completed on July 14, 2016 which verified the PSP successfully meets the objectives outlined in IP 81311. Based on staffs review, the Watts Bar PSP (Rev.20) has met the performance objectives and general requirements outlined in 10 CFR, Section 73.55 and the ASMs imposed by the NRC.
