Unit 3 is operating at 100 percent reactor power and has been on line for 78 days.

Groundwater Investigation Stakeholder Call

• We are nearing completion of Monitoring Well 67, the last.

monitoring well to be installed on site.

Sampling of this well is expected to begin the week of August 6.

• - Inspection of the Unit 2 Transfer Canal continues. Visual inspection of the canal is complete and no issues have been identified. Additional testing is ongoing.

• Fish samples were collected and samples were sent out today.

Flesh samples were sent to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Environmental Conservation and to Indian Point's testing laboratory. Bone samples were sent to the New York State Department of Health. Results are expected in six weeks.

Educational Outreach Entergy Nuclear Northeast provides customized outreach education programs for schools, youth groups, and civic organizations. The topics we cover include Emergency Planning,- Understanding Radiation, Nuclear Fuel and a general overview of the operations of Indian Point Energy Center. If you would like a brochure or are interested in scheduling a program, contact IPEC Communications at 914-271-7441.
