==Dear Mr. Jenkins:==

By letter dated July 7, 2008, and supplemented by letters dated, June 3, and June 4, 2010, Purdue University submitted an application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for renewal of Facility Operat ing License No. R-087 for the Purdue University Reactor.

Based on the review of the application, the NRC staff has determined that Purdue University has submitted sufficient information such that the application is acceptable for docketing in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.33 and Section 50.34. However, this determination does not preclude requests for additional information as NRC's review proceeds. The Notice of Acceptability for Docketing has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
