Dear Mr. Jenkins:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received your email dated November 4, 2011, (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML113360470). In your e-mail you requested an extension of time from October 8, 2011, to January 31, 2012, to submit your responses to our request for additional information (RAI) transmitted to you through a letter dated July 6, 2011, (ADAMS Accession No. ML101460429).

In your e-mail you stated as the reasons for your request for extension were that operations and maintenance requirements, teaching load, and the search for a new reactor supervisor have delayed your timely response. You stated that the semester break will provide you more time to address the remainder of the 30-day set of questions.

We have reviewed and approved your extension request. In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10CFR), Section 50.30(b), you must execute your final response in a signed original document under oath or affirmation. Your response must be submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4, Written Communications. Information included in your response that is considered security, sensitive, or proprietary, that you seek to have withheld from the
