PURDUE RESPONSE TO NRC REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RE: PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN REVIEW FOR LICENSE RENEWAL

Dear Ms. Montgomery,

This letter is in response to the Request for Additional Information Letter dated December 23, 2015 and received by Purdue staff on January 4, 2016 due to the winter holiday. This letter is in support, of the application for the renewal of Facility Operating License No. R-87, dated July 7, 2008, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML083040443), as supplemented, for the Purdue University Research Reactor.

The collective response to the RAis are in the updated and revised Purdue Security Plan (enclosed) with the exception of PSP-14 which was clarified via phone conversation on 01/20/2016 with an NRC security specialist. This question is not applicable and is therefore considered closed.
