HI-STORM UMAX Amendment 4

Dear Mr. Layton:

Holtec is pleased to submit a request to amendment the HI-STORM UMAX Certificate of Compliance (CoC). This amendment makes changes to the CoC and Technical Specifications related to the dose rate on the lid and the MPC-37 Type 1.

contains a summary of the proposed changes in this amendment. Attachment 2 contains the proposed revisions to the CoC and Technical Specifications. Attachments 3 and 4 contain the proposed revised FSAR pages in proprietary and non-proprietary versions.

Attachments 5 through 7 contain proprietary supporting information that supports the application. Since a number of the attachments are considered proprietary, an affidavit pursuant to 10CFR2.390 is included as Attachment 8.
