APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT NO. 11 TO THE MODEL NO. MAGNASTOR STORAGE CASK - FIRST REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Fowler:
By letter dated July 14, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Package Accession No. ML20210M079), NAC International (NAC) submitted an application for Amendment No. 11 to the Model No. MAGNASTOR storage cask. The application proposes to add a new concrete overpack, a light-weight transfer cask, and revised boiling-water reactor fuel characteristics, including damaged boiling-water reactor spent fuel.
In connection with our review, we need the information identified in the enclosures to this letter.
The request for additional information (RAI) requested in this letter should be submitted in the form of revised safety analysis report pages. Please provide your response within 2 months from the date of this letter.
Please reference Docket No. 72-1031 and Enterprise Project Identifier (EPID) No.
