The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region IX evaluated the MS-1. The purpose of the MS-1 was to assess the level of local preparedness in responding to a radiological event occurring at, or within the vicinity of DCPP. The final AAR was prepared in coordination with the DCPP Off-site Response Organizations (ORO). No Level 1, Level 2 Findings or Plan Issues were identified during the March 29, 2017, MS-1. Based on FEMA' s evaluation of demonstrated criteria for the March 29, 2017, MS-1, the. capabilities of the affected OROs are adequate to provide continued reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of a radiological emergency at DCPP.
