Proposed Prioritization of Fire PRA FAQ Efforts December 13, 2017
Background
- Several FPRA realism improvement opportunities identified during October 2017 workshop deemed potentially suitable for FAQ process.
- Industry reviewed input from workshop and prioritized FAQ work to be completed in the next 6-9 months
- Did not attempt to prioritize against more in-depth research work
- Will discuss new proposed FAQs in detail today
Immediate Priority - Completion of Ongoing Work
- Transient controls PAU (14-007)
- Cable tray ignition at 500 C (16-011)
Highest Priority
- HEAF event frequency divided into 1E and non-1E groups
- Updated EC NSP curve
- Time to detection is zero for manual NSP calculations
