Applicable to inspections of centrally-led programs, including:

• Security areas such as AA/FFD

• Elements of engineering inspections such as CETI, CGD, ARD, Fire Protection

• Cybersecurity

• 10 CFR 50.69 Inspections of Centralized Programs

©2024 Nuclear Energy Institute 3 Develop/update NRC guidance to provide flexibility in inspection planning for programs with centralized functions (e.g., IMC 2515, App A). Options could include:

• Allow subsequent inspections during the inspection cycle to credit inspection elements already completed.

• One entrance meeting for two or more sites, followed by sequential site-specific inspections

• One inspection with sampling of all sites (or multiple sites)
