MN-18-002 U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION REGION I NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING March 23, 2018 Licensee: Exelon Generation Company, LLC Facilities: Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket Nos: 50-219 Date/Time: April 10, 2018 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Location: Holiday Inn Manahawkin 151 Route 72 West Manahawkin, New Jersey 08050

Purpose:

The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will meet with the public to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station for 2017, as described in the annual assessment letter dated February, 28, 2018. The NRC will respond to questions on plant performance and our role in ensuring safe plant operations.

NRC Attendees: Matthew R. Young, Chief, Division of Reactor Projects, Branch 6 Raymond J. Powell, Chief, Decommissioning Branch ISFSI and Reactor HP Branch Bruce Watson, Chief, Reactor Decommissioning Branch Matthew Fannon, Acting Senior Resident Inspector Elizabeth Andrews, Resident Inspector Public Participation: This is a Category 3 Meeting. The NRC staff will hold an open house to discuss Exelons performance at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station during calendar year 2017. NRCs staff will be available, in an informational setting, to answer questions from members of the public and discuss issues or concerns related to Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.
