A list of principal NRC andlicensee meeting participants can be found in the attached Enclosure. The NRC began the meeting with an overview of the NRC's Reactor Oversight Program (ROP),national ROP results, and the Action Matrix in general. This was followed by a discussion of the NRC's assessment of Perry's performance in calendar year 2005, which was documented inthe March 2, 2006, end-of-cycle assessment letter. As part of this regulatory performancemeeting, FENOC responded to the NRC's assessment and discussed the progress of Perry'sPerformance Improvement Initiative (PII). Plant management identified the PII as the mechanism for resolving the substantive cross-cutting issues in the areas of Problem Identification and Resolution, and Human Performance.
