Dear Mr. Bezilla:
By letter dated December 15, 2010 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML103630423), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.1 (PNPP). The proposed LAR would modify the requirements for testing control rod scram times following fuel movement within the reactor pressure vessel by incorporating U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF) change traveler TSTF-222-1, Revision 1.
