(Seabrook Station, Unit 1)                           )       ASLBP No. 10-906-02-LR-BD01 NRC STAFFS NOTICE OF INTEND TO PARTICIPATE AS A PARTY Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.1202(b), the NRC staff (Staff) is required to notify the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Board) within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of an order granting a request for a hearing whether it desires to participate as a party and to identify the contentions with respect to which it wishes to participate as a party. On February 15, 2011, the Board issued a Memorandum and Order (Ruling on Petitions for Intervention and Requests for Hearing) wherein the Board granted standing to Beyond Nuclear, the Seacoast Anti-Pollution League, the New Hampshire Sierra Club, Friends of the Coast, and the New England Coalition, and admitted certain contentions. The Staff hereby notifies the Board of its intent to participate as a party in this adjudicatory proceeding with respect to all of the admitted contentions.
