==Dear Administrative Judges:==
As directed by the Licensing Board Order of June 7, 2011, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) hereby provides its monthly report specifying its current best estimate of the dates on which it expects to complete milestones related to 3D seismic studies for Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP) and the coastal zone consistency certification associated with NRC license renewal for DCPP.
The schedule for the seismic work has changed since PG&Es last submittal on June 10, 2014.
PG&E has revised the schedule for issuing the final seismic report to August 2014 in order to allow PG&E additional time to resolve comments on the report. In addition, we note that schedule information also was included in PG&E letter DCL-14-043, dated June 4, 2014 (ML14155A231), that was previously provided to the Board.
PG&E will continue to provide specific dates in the monthly reports to the extent practicable, recognizing that these dates may be modified as more accurate information becomes available.
PG&E wishes to assure the Licensing Board that it is making every effort to minimize the extent of the delay in the NRC license renewal process.
