The SE is being provided to support a meeting of the subcommittee of the ACRS scheduled for April 17-19, 2018. The ACRS full committee meeting will be held after the subcommittee meeting. | |||

Nuclear Power Co (KHNP), Ltd. submitted an application for a design certification of the Advanced Power Reactor 1400 (APR1400) Standard Design. On March 10, 2017, KHNP submitted a subsequent letter transmitting Revision 1 to the APR1400 design certification application.
Based on our review of the application, the staff is providing the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) its Safety Evaluation (SE) with no Open Items for Chapter 15 of the APR1400 Final Safety Analysis Report Transient and Accident Analyses (ML17269A297).
Unless otherwise stated in the SE, the staffs review was based on Revision 1 of the application.
The SE is being provided to support a meeting of the subcommittee of the ACRS scheduled for April 17-19, 2018. The ACRS full committee meeting will be held after the subcommittee meeting.
