Dear Dr. Butler:
You have recently transmitted. two (2) letters to us requesting additional information relative to the design of Mark II containments to account for suppression pool, hydrodynamic loads that occur during loss of coolant accidents (letter dated April 17, 1975) and safety/relief valve discharge events (letter dated April 23, 1975).
In response to these letters, we(will provide you with our schedule for submitting the requested. containment design information and. evaluations by the week of June 2, 1975) This schedule and a program for resolution of this matter is 'being developed in conjunction with other utilities owning Mark II containments and. the General Electric Company.
As discussed. with Mr. J. M. Cutchin, the schedule for our response to Item 1 of your March 14, 1975 letter (regarding the design of wetwell to drywell vacuum breakers) will be included with the schedules mentioned above.
