JOINT SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION REGARDING PLANT TOUR I. INTRODUCTION Pursuant to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards (Board) direction during the parties May 16, 2019 conference call, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Staff and NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (NextEra) jointly submit the following supplemental information regarding the requested tour of Seabrook Station Unit 1 (Seabrook).1 NRC Staff and NextEra are able to accommodate C-10s request to defer the start time of the tour until 12:00 PM on June 21, 2019.2 And, in light of the Boards plan to have only one law clerk in attendance, NextEra is able to accommodate C-10s request for up to three representatives at the tour without splitting the tour into two separate groups. | |||
In addition to the general format and locations identified in the original proposal, NextEra and NRC Staff also are able to accommodate the Boards request to observe the following, either on the tour or during the pre- or post-tour discussions: | |||
(1) demonstration of a crack index measurement; 1 | |||
Counsel for NRC Staff authorized NextEra to file this joint proposal. | |||
