SUBJECT: LETTER REPORT FOR FOUR WATER SAMPLES FROM THE VICINITY OF THE BRAIDWOOD NUCLEAR

GENERATING  
The Oak hdge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) received four water samples associated with the Braidwood Generating Station on June 1,2007.
STATION, BRAIDWOOD, ILLINOIS  
ORISE analyzed the samples, for tritium, to an average minimum detectable concentration of 190 pCi/L using a liquid scindation analyzer with one exception. Sample BD-07-03-03 had a very short count time due to the concentration of tritium in the samples. The chain-of-custody also identified one water sample to be analyzed by gamma spectroscopy

((2s). The sample identifications and collection data are presented in Table 1. GS data are presented in Table 2 and the tritium data are presented in Table 3. Pertinent procedural references are provided in the specific tables. ORISE's Quality Control (QC) requirements were met for these analyses.
