The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has forwarded a Notice of Issuance of the Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact regarding the application submitted by the Purdue University Reactor dated July 7, 2008, as supplemented by letters dated June 30, 2008; June 3, and June 4, 2010; November 15, 2011; January 4, January 30, January 31, June 1, June 15, June 29, July 13, and August 11, 2012; April 10, 2013; July 24, 2015; and January 29, February 26, March 31, May 9, July 7, July 19, September 19, and September 29, 2016, for a renewal of Facility Operating License No. R-87 for the Purdue University Reactor, to the Office of the Federal Register for publication. The proposed action would renew Facility Operating License No. R-87 for 20 years from the date of issuance of the renewed license.
