The HI-STORM100CaskSystemdoesnotcreateany radioactive materialsorhaveanyradioactivewaste treatment system.Therefore, specific operating proceduresforthecontrolofradioactivearenotrequired.The HI-STORM100CaskSystemisalso designed and fabricatedwithatotally seal-welded pressurevesselsuchthat leakagefromthe confinementboundaryis not consideredtobeacredible occurrence.

Therefore,thereareno radionuclidesreleasedto the environmentinliquidor gaseous effluentsfromthe independentspentfuelstoragefacilityatGGNSduringthereportingperiodof January1,2016to December31,2016.Thislettercontainsnonew Regulatory Commitments.Shouldyouhaveany questions orrequireadditional information, please contactRichardSumrall 601-437-2115.
