Gentlemen:

Reference I submitted the Owner's Activity Reports (OAR) for the First Period of the Second Inservice Inspection (ISI) Interval. Reference 2 submitted the Owners Activity Reports for the Second Period of the Second ISI' Interval. 'Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) has discovered that the entry' for:the examination category of "Integral Attachments for Vessels" is incorrect. Since Refueling Outage (RF) 9, Table 1 of the OAR-1 Forms has indicated that 50% of the examinations for'integral attachments for the pressurizer have been completed (1 of the 2 examinations "completed). It has since been discovered that the examination of this component was only. partially completed. ASME Section Xl, 1989 Edition with no Addenda, Figure IWB-2500-13 shows~the required examination area. The "A-B" area was examined, however; the "C-D" area-was not. Per ASME Section Xl, both areas "A-B" and

'C-D" are required to be examined. JThus' this examination was not complete for that component, and this category should not have been listed as 50% complete for the 2-examinations on the Form OAR-1. This issue is being addressed by the WCNOC corrective action program.

WCNOC will complete the required examinations for the Second ISI Interval, which ends September 2, 2005, during RF14. RF14 is scheduled for completion in May, 2005. This will complete the examination requirements of these components for WCNOC's Second ISI Interval.

The correct status of the examinations'will be reflected on the OAR-1 Forms for RF13 and RF14. The OAR-1 Forms will be submitted to the NRC within 90 days following the completion of ISI Period 3 and Interval 2.
