This letter is to confirm that Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) received the referenced Inspection Report and to provide the required response within ten days.
In the reference the NRC requested that WCNOC notify the NRC within ten days of the date of the letter of our intentions with respect to the preliminary yellow finding, both by telephone and in writing.
WCNOC notified the NRC by phone on August 15, that a Regulatory Conference is not being requested to further discuss this finding. WCNOC accepts the preliminary significance determination provided by the NRC.
This letter confirms the information provided in that call.
