TRANSMITTAL OF DUKE ENERGY PROGRESS PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN, REVISION 10 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4)(iii), 10 CFR S0.54(p)(2) and 10 CFR 72.44(e), Duke*
Energy Progress provides notification that the Duke Energy Progress - Brunswick, Robinson and Harris Nuclear Plants Physical Security Plan, Security Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program has been revised. The effective date of implementation for Revision 1 O is August 21, 2017.
An evaluation of the plan revision in accordance with 10.CFR 50.54(p)(2) and 10 CFR 72.44(e) has determined that the changes incorporated do not decrease the overall level of physical protection programs and security organization performance objectives and requirements as described in paragraphs (b) through (k) and (m) through (q) of 1 O CFR 73.55 and 1 O CFR 72.21_2(b)(9).

Enclosure 1 contains a summary description of the Physical Security Plan revision changes. Enclosure 2 contains a copy of the Duke Energy Progress - Brunswick,*
Robinson and Harris Nuclear Plants Physical Security Plan, Security Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program. Enclosure 3 contains the evaluation of the the changes to the Security Plan that was performed in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) in order to.ensure compliance whll governing commitments and regulations.
