Reference:

1. PLA-7065, Letter from J. A. Franke (PPL) to Document Control Desk (USNRC),

Titled: "Relief Requests 1RR07 and 2RR07 for Third Ten-Year Interval /nservice Testing Program Plans for Susquehanna SES Unit 1 and Unit 2," dated September 9, 2013.

2. PLA-6977, Letter from J. M. Helsel (PPL) to Document Control Desk (USNRC), Titled, "Proposed Amendment No. 313 to License NPF-14 and Proposed Amendment No. 285 to License NPF-22: Change to Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement (SR) 3.5.1.12," dated June 6, 2013.

The purpose of this letter is to withdraw proposed Relief Requests 1RR07 and 2RR07, submitted by Reference 1, from NRC review. These proposed Relief Requests are applicable to the Third Ten-Year Interval IST Program Plans for SSES Unit 1 and Unit 2.

The approval dates for these relief requests were developed to support the SSES Unit 1 Spring outage.

These Relief Requests are associated with proposed Technical Specification (TS)

Amendments (Reference 2) which would eliminate the testing requirement for the Automatic Depressurization System (ADS) valves to open during manual actuation of the ADS circuitry and these amendments are scheduled to be completed in May 2014. Since these Relief Requests cannot be fully implemented during the scheduled Spring 2014 outage, PPL Susquehanna, LLC (PPL) requests that NRC not review these Relief Requests.

These Relief Requests are included in the proposed Relief Requests for the Fourth Ten-Year Interval Inservice Testing Program Plans for Susquehanna SES Unit 1 and Unit 2, which starts in June 2014.
