10 CFR 26.719(c) stipulates in part that licensees shall notify the NRC within 30 days of completing an investigation of errors or matters that could adversely reflect on the integrity of the random selection or testing process. The Enclosure to this letter contains a detailed description of SNC investigation results which revealed such matters related to the testing process. Southern Nuclear promptly addressed this issue in a manner that meets our high standards for safety and security. Specific corrective actions have been implemented as described in the Enclosure.

Please note that the Enclosure contains security related information under 10 CFR 2.390 and contains personally identifiable information. It is respectfully requested that the NRC withhold the Enclosure under 10 CFR 2.390.
