On June 16, 2016, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2016-09, "Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examination" RIS 2016-09 requests that licensees voluntarily submit projections of their site-specific operator licensing examination schedules as well as the estimated number of applicants planning to take operator licensing and generic fundamental examinations for years 2018-2021.

Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) hereby provides as enclosures to this letter the requested information on NRC form 536 for Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant- Units 1 and 2, Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant- Units 1 and 2, and Vogtle Electric Generating Plant- Units 1 and 2. The estimates provided represent SNC's current understanding, but are subject to possible change in the future. These enclosures supersede previous similar RIS responses.
