REPORT REGARDING MAY 28 - MAY 30, 2024, REGULATORY AUDIT FOR SUPPLEMENT TO FRAMATOME INC. TOPICAL REPORT, ANP-10350P, REVISION 0, FRAMATOME METHODOLOGY FOR BOILING WATER REACTORS: EVALUATION AND VALIDATION OF APOLLO2-A/ARTEMIS-B (EPID L-2022-TOP-0038)

By letter dated June 30, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22186A025), Framatome Inc. (Framatome) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Topical Report (TR) ANP-10350P, Revision 0, Framatome Methodology for Boiling Water Reactors: Evaluation and Validation of APOLLO2-A/

ARTEMIS-B (ADAMS Package No. ML22186A071), for review and approval for licensing applications. Supplemental information regarding ANP-10350P, Revision 0 was submitted to the NRC by letter dated February 21, 2024 (ADAMS Package Accession No. ML24057A358). The audit was held virtually on May 28 through May 30, 2024, to support the NRC staffs review of the supplemental information regarding extension of ANP-10350P, Revision 0 to include increased enrichment and higher burnup conditions.

During the audit, the NRC staff were able to discuss with Framatome representatives the supplemental information supporting documentation and to ask questions about the review of TR ANP-10350P, Revision 0. The results of the audit provided additional information to support the NRC staffs safety evaluation. The proprietary audit report is enclosed.
