Notification of Expected Date of Transfer of Ownership of Nuclear Plants to Holtec Palisades, LLC; and Notification of Receipt of all Required Regulatory Approvals Palisades Nuclear Plant Docket Nos. 50-255 and 72-007 Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-20 Big Rock Point Docket Nos. 50-155 and 72-043 License No. DPR-6 In accordance with Section III of the Order issued in the letter (Reference 1), Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) is providing pre-notification of the upcoming transfer of Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-20 for the Palisades Nuclear Plant (Palisades) and the general license for the Palisades Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) and Facility Operating License No. DPR-6 for Big Rock Point and the general license for the Big Rock Point ISFSI to Holtec Palisades, LLC and the transfer of Entergys operating authority to Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC. The closing of the transaction and the license transfers are expected to occur on June 28, 2022.

All required regulatory approvals for the transfer of these licenses have been obtained.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.

Entergy will keep the NRC informed of any developments that have an impact on the schedule of closing the transfer of these licenses.
