This is to inform the NRC that the activities necessary to close the sale and transfer Palisades Nuclear Plant and Big Rock Point have been completed. The closing of the sale transaction was effective June 28, 2022. At the time of closing, with the NRCs approval, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.
transferred its currently licensed authority to Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC, and indirect control of Entergys ownership interests in the facility licenses was transferred to Holtec International. The parties request that the NRC issue the conforming license amendments.
