STATUS OF RECOMMENDATION Recommendation 5: Update the relevant management directives to include a) current telecommunications infrastructure and current organizational responsibilities, and b) a requirement to comply with MD 10.162 Disability Programs and Reasonable Accommodation when deploying any IT projects.

Status: Resolved.

Agency Response Dated January 24, 2022 The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has worked closely with the Office of Administration to ensure all important and relevant guidance from Management Directive (MD) 2.3 and MD 2.7 have been accurately updated and consolidated into MD 2.6. MD 2.6 was signed by the Executive Director for Operations on December 9, 2021 and published December 17, 2021(NRC announcement).
