Public Law 99-474 proYides that anyone l\11.o accesses a Federal computer system with or *without authorization, and by means of such conduct obtains, alters, damages, destroys, or discloses infonnation, or prevents authorized use of information on the computer, shall be subj ect to fine or imprisonment, or both.

The burden to the public for this mandatory information collections is estimated to average 4 minutes per response, including the time for re\*iewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and revifiving the information collection.
