-resolvea?
ANSWER Management prcblems identified as a result of investig6tions Will be assessed for their potentiel impact on plant safety. The action NRC takes to ebtain 4
resolution of management problems will oepend on the degree to which these prcblems are judged to impcct safe plant operation.
If the management problems have'no apphrent sefety significance, the matter could be turned over to the licctsee for resciution. At the other extreme, if investigations reveal severe management deficiencies having potentially high safety
-1 significance, NRC cculd issue an order suspending operation until the management concerns are resolved. This is the action'NRC took when pervasive l
r,anagement deficiencies were determined tc exist at the Peach Bottom Nuclear Plant. Hov.ever, when appropriate, the ARC will notify the licensee of apparent management problems, require the licensee to correct those problems, and review implementation crc the effectiveness of corrective actions.
