ANSWER Records c' cliegations prior to January 1983 have been retired to a records repository and would have te be recalled to provide information before 1983.
Because of the time involved, we do not intend to recall pre-1983 records unless you have a need for that information.
In the following answer to ycur question ve have providea information contained in allegation records after January 1:-!3.
The NRC has initiated El additional Davis-Besse allegation files since 1983.
This includes 26 new files since the receipt of the allegation concerning the December 31, 1986 incident. To date, 32 of the 51 additional files have been closed, and 5 additional files have been turned over to the Office of In-vestigations (01) for investigation.
The other 14 files are actively being pursued by Region III staff.
To describe the allegations, we have included a brief description cf each allegation and a status of its review (Enclosure (2)(a)-1).
