Unplanned Releases There were no unplanned gaseous or liquid releases.

Radioactive Waste Treatnent Systems There were no significant changes to the radioactive waste treatment systems.

Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program The June, 1997 land-use census did not identify any new dose calculation locations.

Effluent Monitor Instrtament Operability Required effluent monitor instrumentation was not out of service for more than 30 days during 1997.

Sp3cial Reports 97-03 and 97-08 were submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission because the Post Accident Sampling System Mid and High Range Noble Gas monitors for the Reactor Bui1 ding and Auxiliary Building were inoperable for more than seven days.

DDCM & PCP Changcs The PCP was not revised during 1997.

The ODCM was revised three times during 1997.

ODCM Revision 21. Approved for issuance on 4/3/97. Revised to 1) clarify the term " degassing" as it applies to Waste Gas Decay Tank sampling, 2) provide for separate fixed setpoints for laundry tank and Evaporator Condensate Storage Tank (ECST) releases, 3) delete an unnecessary definition for " independent verification", 4) broaden the scope of the power change sampling requirements, and 5) clarify the distinction between requirements and considerations for sampling the Reactor Building when the hatches (personnel and equipment) are open.

ODCM Revision 22. Approved for issuance on 7/28/97. Revised to clarify the requirements for making changes to the ODCM.

00CM Revision 23. Approved for issuance on 12/16/97. Revised to clarify the Surveillance Requirement for the Waste Gas Decay Tank Curie determination.

A complete copy of the ODCM is being submitted with this report. Affected pages have been marked.
