Dear Sir / Madam:

l By letter dated February 25, 1997, PECO Energy Company submitted Technical Specifications (TS) Change Request No. 96-06-0 for Limerick Generating Statioe (LGS), Units 1 and 2, requesting a change to the LGS Facility Operating License, and Appendix A and Appendix B of the license, reflecting a corporate name change, removal of obsolete information, and correction of typographical errors.

PECO Energy is supplementing TS Change Request No. 96-06-0 by modifying the appearance of Unit 1, Facility Operating License (FOL) page 8.

F0L paragraph 2.E was amended (LGS, Unit 1, Amendment No. 9) by NRC letter dated August 3, 1988. When Amendment No. 9 was issued, the revised FOL paragraph 2.E was not incorporated directly into the LGS

Unit 1 FOL; rather, the existing FOL paragraph 2.E was stamped l " Superseded - See Amendment No. 9." Based on recent discussions with the NRC Project Manager for Limerick, the current version of FOL ]

l l l paragraph 2.E (as approved in Amendment No. 9) should appear in the LGS l Unit 1 FOL. As such, the attached FOL page 8 has been modified to reflect Amendment No. 9. No changes are being made to FOL paragraph 2.E as approved in Amendment No. 9 nor are any changes being requested to j paragraph 2.E at this time. 7 This supplement supersedes the referenced letter. This supplement does not change the information supporting the Finding of No Significant Hazards Consideration Section, contained in our February 25, 1997 request letter. The attachment to this letter contains the camera-ready Unit 1 FOL, page 8, and a mark-up of the same page in support of TS Change Request 96-06-0. This information is being submitted under affirmation, and the re, quired affidavit is enclosed.
