SUBJECT:

SHEARON HARRIS / BRUNSWICK ALLEGATIONS FROM MS. MIRIELLO (CHRONOLOGY OF ACTION)

Case Numbers:

RII-86-A-0018/RII-86-A-0067 Ms. Patty Miriello first contacted the Investigation / Allegation Coordinator (IAC) for Region II on January 6,1986.

A message was left with a secretary in the Office of The Regional Administrator, and a subsequent telephone call to Ms. Miriello on January 7, 1986, established the first contact between Ms. Miriello and IAC (T. A. Nash).

Nash received HP and wrongdoing concerns in the intthi telephonic contact with 'information that Ms. Miriello had already shared all Jof these concerns about Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant (SHNP) and Brun.mirTSieam Electric Plant (BSEP) with RII:01, Messrs. L. L. Robinson and R. H. hrch in September of 1985.

Subsequent coordinations with Robinson and Burch revealed that they had apparently not received all of Ms. Miriello's concerns, and in addition to RII:01's Investigation matters, two more cases were opened by RII, IAC (T..A. Nash). These cases were assigned tracking numbers into i

the NC HQ AMS on January 23, 1986 and February 11, 1986, respectively.

Two previous contacts, one by 01 (RII AMS tracking number RII-85-A-0166, 01 Case No.Q2-85-021) and the other by RII Legal Counsel at the ASLB hearing (RII AMS tracking No RII-85-A-0169) dealt with wrongdoing and ' testimony concerning drugs at Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Flant.

In the previous tracking assignments, 01 The first attempt to contact the Region was the contact p(oint and not Regior. II.T. A. Nash) on January 6, 1986.

The c'nronological sequence of came to the IAC IAC actions follows:
