' COMMISSION PAPER: PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO 10 CFR 50.55A The Office of the Chief Information Officer has reviewed the' subject draft Commission Paper and concurs in it. However, if the Commission approves developn ent of a rule eliminating the requirement to update Isis and ISTs every 120 months, the reduc'aon in the information collection requirements must be reviewed by the Office of Manar,ement and Budget (OMB).
Please complete and submit, as soon as the draft rule is available, a copy of the attached NRC Form 670, "Information Required for Making an insignificant Burden Determination," which
. solicits information about the significance of the change and whether or not the information collection is controversial, so that we may submit it and the rulemaking to OMB for an expedited review. We will apprise you of OMB's decision and whether or not a complete OMB review and approval are required. Once the proposed rule is developed, we will place publication of it on hold with the Office of Administration pending completion of OMB's review.
Please replace the OClO coordination statement on page 6 with the following:
