-10 CFR PART 50.55A, " CODES AND STANDARDS," FINAL RULE
~ We have reviewed the subject final rule and the OMB clearance package for compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). OMB approval for the information collection changes contained in the final rule must be obtained before the rule can be published. Therefore, we have placej the rule on hold with the Office of Administration pending OMB's approval of the information collections. In addition, the burden reflected in the Paperwork Reduction Act Statement may need to be modified to reflect the burden changes in
. the final rule.
We have reviewed and annotated the associated OMB clearance package, and will forward it to

you this week.- We will work with you to finalize the package or, with OMB's agreement, prepare an NRC Form 670, "Information Required for Making an insignificant Burden Determination," to obtain expedited OMB review.
