IS-DP-04007 Perfornance Test for the Revision 01 Alco-Sensor III 1.0 PUPPOSE 1.1 The purpose of this procedure is to establish the testing criteria for the Alco-Sensor III to ensure the sensors are operating properly.
1.2 This test is to be conducted weekly.

4.2.1 Raw cigarette smoke shall not be introduced into the instrument or permanent damage to the fuel cell shall result.
5.0 EREREOUISITES 5.1 Administrative 5.1.1 Ensure section 2 and 3 are completed of the BAC Simulation Checklist prior to the Alco-Sensor Test.

IS-DP-04007 Performance Test for the Revision 01 Alco-Sansor III a.0 PPOOEDURE B.1 Testing precedure for Alco-sensor III:
S 1.1 Alco-Sensor is brought to temperature with SET BUTTON depressed.
Depress READ BUTTON and note .000. If .000 or .001 l 3.1.2 does not appear, depress SET Button again for a few minutes then depress the READ BUTTON again, and re-check the reading.
8.1.3 Attach the Alco-Sensor III mouth piece to the inlet l port located on top of the simulator and plastic j
tube to the Simulator outist port. (
8.1.4 With the SET BUTTON depressed, attach the Alco-Sensorj I
III to the plastic *.ube.
8.1.5 Blow into simulator through the mouth piece 'or l approximately three seconds, press the READ BUTTON, j and continue to blow for a short period of time. .
8.1.6 Keep READ BUTTON depressed until reading reaches maximum.
8.1.7 Reading should correspond to value of the test solution used, +/ .005.
8.1.8 If the reading is within tolerance, record as sat on '

sensors present are tested, repeating substeps 3.1.4 l through 8.1.8.

- a. Push SET BUTTON down,
- b. Wait 20 seconds.
- c. Depress READ BUTTON, .000 or .001 should be seen for a per'od of time that button is depressed.
- d. Repeat subsection 8.1.4 through 8.1.8. ,

8.1.11 If the reading still does not correspond to the value of the test solution used within or including,
+/ .005 adjust the alco-sensor in accordance with the Alco-Sensor III Manutl, G-ML-412-1, and repeat steps 8.1.4 - 8.1.8, record reading in As Left column.
8.1.12 If the reading still does not correspond to the value of the test solution used within/or including,
+/ .005, record as unsat on Enclosure 1, place the l sensor out of service, and notify the Supervisor-fluclear Security Support.
l 9.0 RECORDS 9.1 Follow the requirements of DB-DP-00013, Surveillance and Periodic Tast Program for records capture and processing.
