1. Containment Ventilat.on Unit Condensate Drain Tank Cor.tinuous Composite Samplers (Units 1 and 2).

On June 1, 1984, Units 1 and 2 CVUCDT Composite Samplers were declared inoperable. The samplers have remained inoperable since that date and have exceeded the thirty (30) day inoperable period limit as stated in action 33 of Technical specification 3.3.3.8.

Frequent inoperability had been experienced prior to June 1. An investigation identified that the effluent had a higher solid content than the instruments were designed to sample. An appropriate replacement has been requisitioned and is scheduled for installation during the third or fourth quarter of 1986.
