The United States Nuclear-Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the request of Portland General Electric-(the licensee)_ to withdraw portions of its-April 19, 1985 amendment application of the Trojan Nuclear.

Plant, located in Eugene, Oregon. The proposed amendment would have revised 4-the Technical Specifications to permit the performance.of surveillance testing of each train of the control room emergency ventilatiion system once every 12-3 months rather than once every 31 days. The withdrawal affects. Technical.

The Commission issued a Notice of ConsiderationLof. Issuance of the Amendments in the Federal Register on September 11,1985(50FR37089). By-letter dated July 14, 1986, the licensee requested, pursuant.to 10 CFR 2.107, permission to withdraw portions of its application for the proposed amendment.
The Commission has considered the licensee's July 14, 1986 request and detennined that permission to withdraw the identified portions of the April 19, 1985 application for amendment should be granted.-
