The allowables for longitudinal clamp pairs in three directions are given in Table 3.2.

The load directions V, T, and L are taken to be the vertical, transverse and longitudinal directions as referenced to a horizontal tray.

A longitudinal allowable for transverse clamps is not given since an explicit evaluation for that direction will not be performed.
