Given below is a list of items which I h' ave delivered to.your office on Septenber 8,1982:

1 - Computer pri*ntout (File DCM001).

This printout contains a listing of the input deck used by BNL for Model B.

It includes the geometry of the finite element model, boundary conditions, a defini-tion for both the steel and concrete portions of the structure., and the mass distributions.

2 - Computer printout (Tape ND6488).

This printout i s a digitized listing of the moaal shapes (i.e.,142) and frequencies for Model B.

3 - Computer printout (File DCM0012).

This printout is a listing of the floor response spectra generated for Model B corresponding to three equipment damping value s (i.e.,.2,3, and 4. percent).

4 - Set of geometry plots ( 3 sheets), set of modal shape plots (10 sheets), list indicating the floor number, fan cooler number and the corresponding node used for the floor spectra shown on pages 56-75 of the BNL report.

Finally,- with respect' to TES iten 5,. although some hand calculations were made during the.various stages of the work, all Lof our solutions were generated.by computer and*are thus in your possession.

Regarding the requested TES item 6-8, relating to the piping analysis, I have sent out to you today (9/10/82) by express mail the following:

(a) - Diablo Canyon Piping Problem 6-11, Model: B, envelope:

This printout includes the input card images of the computer deck, the nodal and element output data, and the analysis results (i.e.,- nodal displacements, element forces and moments) for deadwight and thermal analyses, the modal solutions (i.e., model shapes and frequencies) and the response spectrum solutions corresponding to the Model B spectra using t.he x,y and. z component combinations with modal clustering effects.

It also included the ASME Class 2 evaluations for this problem.

(b) ~- Diablo Canyon Piping Problem 4A*-26 model B, envelope:

Identical information as that of item (a) above, for problem 4A-26.

(c) - Copy of PSAFE2 Manual, This is a draft manual for the BNL piping analysi s code.

(This document is in the process of being modified).

Items af b and c represent the current practice used for piping system analysis and as such 1t answers all items requested by TES.

Multiple response analysis was carried out for study purposes only, since this is not presently an acceptable methodology for licensing requirenents.

In view of this, the results of this study are not included in-our transmittals.
