SUMMARY
OF UNIT 1 OPERATING 'i't?ERIENCE f
January 1987 1/1 The Unit began this reporting period shutdown for refueling.-
1/3 At 0206, the Reactor became critical, but was not 4
paralleled because secondary side work was still in 1-progress.
1/7 At 1015, the Reactor was shutdown so Reactor Coolant Pump balancing could be performed while repairing #1 Main Turbine Bearing.
1/9 At 1118, the Reactor was critical.
I 1/12 At 2220, the Unit was paralleled.
Power operation had l
been delayed while inspecting the Main Turbine Thrust Bearing.
I 1/13 At 0120, the Unit was held at 30% reactor power for i
i chemistry.
At 1645, power was increased to 60% to perform l
PSTP-3.
1/15 At 1045, power was increased to 97% to complete PSTP-3.
j 1/20 At 1240, the Unit was at full reactor power (860 MWe).
1/27 At 1809, the Unit was manually tripped because of a loss of instrument air.
1/28 At 0518, the Reactor was critical.
1/31 At 1050, the Unit was paralleled.
Power operation had
]
been delayed because of repairs to the Condensate Booster j
Pumps.
1/31 The Unit ended this reporting period at 50% reactor power (430 MWe).

SUMMARY
OF UNIT 1 OPERATING EXPERIENCE February 1987 2/1 The Unit began this reporting period at 50% reactor power (430 MWe).
The Unit was limited to 50% power because only one Condensate Booster Pump- (CBP) was in service.
2/1 At 0035, the Unit tripped on Stator Cooling Runback because stator liquid pressure went below the setpoint during a hydrogen purifying operation.
At 1410, the Reactor was critical and at 1945, the Unit was paralleled.
2/2 At 0415, two CBPs were in service and the Unit was at full reactor power (860 MWe).
2/7 At 2013, the Unit began reducing power to repair an oil leak on #3 Intercept Valve.
At 2252, the Unit was removed from the grid.
2/8 At 1245, the Unit was paralleled.
Shutting the breaker was delayed because of a ground on 11 AC vital bus.
At 2200, the Unit was at full reactor power (860 MWe).
2/18 At 2045, Unit 1 power was reduced to 700 MWe for repairs to 12 Heater Drain Tank Normal Level Control Valve.
2/19 At 0340, repairs to the valve were complete, and at 0512, the Unit was at full reactor power (860 MWe).
2/28 The Unit ended this reporting period at full reactor power (860 MWe).
