We have recently received the EPRI doguments on tornado missile i trajectory models and risk analysis which report on part of the l EPRI research program to study effects of tornadoes on design of nuclear power plants.
We have been following the tornado research program with consid- +
erable interest, as you know, and believe this is an appropriate time to suggest an informal technical infomation exchange meeting.
Discussions of results of past work, projects currently underway, as well as planned efforts of both the EPRI and NRC research pro- ~'
grams would be useful.
I suggest that we try to have the meeting after August 14, 1978, in the Washington area. Details can be arranged later. I will try to detemine the interest and availability of other NRC staff members for such a meeting.
